Dancing with the Stars of Charlotte Set to Return for 10th Anniversary

It’s officially 2026, and with the start of a new year comes the return of one of my favorite Queen City events, Dancing with the Stars of Charlotte. This fabulous, fun philanthropic event pairs Charlotte-area celebrities with professional dancers to raise awareness, funds, and visibility for some incredible causes, which are the Katie Blessing Foundation, the Go Jen Go Foundation, and the Agnes Binder Weisiger Breast Health Center. This year marks the 10th anniversary of Dancing with the Stars of Charlotte, which will be held on April 24th at the Carolina Theatre in Uptown Charlotte.

For those unfamiliar with how the event works, our celebrity-dancer pairs hit the stage with jaw-dropping performances, while audience members get involved by casting votes through donations, with each dollar donated counting as one vote. At the end of the night, three prestigious mirror ball trophies are awarded to the top fundraiser, the crowd favorite, and the highest-scoring performer.
