The Edit Sale Returns Next Week. Here’s What Shoppers Can Expect

Charlotte’s most anticipated designer sale officially returns next week.
Founded in 2016 by friends Stephanie, Shelly, and Jennifer after becoming frustrated with the local and online luxury consignment market, the Edit Sale is a biannual designer consignment pop-up featuring a curated selection of clothing, shoes, handbags, and accessories from established luxury houses and emerging designers.

The upcoming sale will bring seven days of shopping to Camp North End between September 23rd and October 3rd. I recently got a sneak peek at what is in store and spoke with co-founder Shelly about what shoppers can expect, along with a few tips for making the experience as seamless as possible.
What to Know Before You Go
Before the shopping begins, there are a few important rules to know.
First and foremost, a fabulous event like the Edit Sale will indeed have a line. Shoppers cannot hold places for family or friends, so make sure everyone in your group arrives on time. While you wait for the doors to open, HEX Coffee will be on-site with coffee carts offering an assortment of beverages.

Second, coats and bags are not permitted inside the sale. Anyone who arrives with either will be asked to return them to their car, so plan accordingly to avoid an extra trip.
All purchases are final, with no holds, returns, exchanges, or refunds. Items are sold as is. During my visit, I saw the team hard at work reviewing the merchandise and making sure each piece was priced accordingly.
Security guards will also be on-site to help ensure shoppers have a safe and enjoyable experience. Accepted forms of payment include cash, credit cards, and Zelle.
What to Expect Inside
Once you are inside, it is officially time to shop, and you will find pieces that even Carrie Bradshaw would swoon over.
Expect luxury labels such as Chanel, Celine, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Prada, to name a few. Clothing, shoes, handbags, and accessories will each have designated shopping areas.

New for this sale is a dedicated handbag store where shoppers can browse and make their purchases directly. Shelly explained that the setup gives everyone a fair opportunity to explore the collection by preventing shoppers from carrying bags around the sale while deciding whether to purchase them.
There will also be a dedicated area where shoppers can try on clothing before buying. While there will not be individual dressing rooms, Shelly says this is not the time to be shy.

“It’s actually a great place for ladies to make friends and receive honest feedback from each other before they decide to buy,” she says.
Some clothing racks will also be organized by price, allowing shoppers with a particular budget to quickly find what they are looking for.
The Dates and Where to Park
The Edit Sale will be open on the following dates and times:
Wednesday, September 23: 10 AM - 8 PM
Thursday, September 24: 10 AM - 8 PM
Friday, September 25: 10 AM - 5 PM
Saturday, September 26: 10 AM - 5 PM
Thursday, October 1: 10 AM - 8 PM
Friday, October 2: 10 AM - 5 PM
Saturday, October 3: 10 AM - 5 PM
The sale will take place in Suite 100 at Camp North End. Shoppers are encouraged to park directly behind the Good Postage store.

After getting an early look at what is in store, I can say there is plenty worth browsing. Just remember to arrive early, travel light, and be prepared to make a decision when the right piece appears.
