SouthPark Community Art Market to Showcase Six Charlotte Artists

July in SouthPark will conclude with a community art market celebrating some of Charlotte's local artists.

Hosted by Tim Petrinec, realtor and founder of QC Home Advisors, the event will take place on July 31st from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Carolinas Realty office in SouthPark. The evening will feature six Charlotte painters affiliated with ArtPop Street Gallery, who will showcase and sell original works of art.

The featured artwork will include oil paintings, abstract cityscapes, botanical and coastal landscapes, impressionist still lifes, mixed-media portraiture, and abstract paintings, with many pieces available for purchase.

The participating ArtPop Street Gallery artists are Ann Travis, Doris Barahona, John Komisin, Jude Robinson, Margaret Fleeman, and Mary Kamerer.

In addition to browsing the artwork, guests will be able to enjoy wine and charcuterie while mingling with fellow art enthusiasts and members of the community.

According to Tim, he organized the evening as a way of bringing the Charlotte community together around something worth showing up for.

If you're interested in attending, admission is free, so simply come ready to enjoy an evening of local art, conversation, and community.
