Mignonne Gavigan’s Sample Sale Lands at Shain Gallery This Week

If fall has you looking for a new statement piece, Mignonne Gavigan has provided the Queen City with the perfect excuse to shop this week. The Charlotte-based accessories brand, founded by designer Maggie Gavigan, will host a sample sale at Shain Gallery on Thursday, October 1st, from 10 AM to 6 PM, with select items up to 60% off.
Founded in 2014, Mignonne Gavigan is known for intricate beadwork, unexpected colors, and expressive silhouettes. Maggie draws inspiration from the landscapes, architecture, people, and cultures she encounters in her travels. The brand’s collections span earrings, bracelets, and necklaces, including the scarf necklaces that played a key role in its beginnings.
The idea for those necklaces began when Maggie was experimenting with a vintage beaded couture gown. An embellished piece of fabric fell to the floor, and she tied it around her neck like a scarf. After receiving compliments on her way home, she began developing what would become Mignonne Gavigan.
