Clean Beauty Brand Jones Road to Open Charlotte Store at Phillips Place
If you’ve been in search of a new makeup storefront in the Queen City, you’re in luck. Jones Road, the clean beauty brand founded by legendary makeup artist Bobbi Brown, is set to arrive this October at Phillips Place.
Bobbi Brown founded Jones Road in 2020 with the belief that the world doesn’t need more beauty products, but rather better beauty products. The brand has quickly risen in popularity among beauty consumers for its clean makeup formulas, which are free of phthalates, sulfates, parabens, PEGs, cyclic silicones, EDTA and BPA and are designed to work on every skin type and tone, according to the brand’s website.
The Charlotte location follows what appears to be a nationwide expansion for Jones Road, which opened stores in Atlanta, Boston, Charleston, and Santa Monica this summer.
Bobbi Brown first rose to prominence in the 1980s after moving to New York City to begin her career as a makeup artist. She founded her namesake company, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, in 1991 before selling it to The Estée Lauder Companies in 1995 and ultimately leaving the brand in 2016.
Bobbi Brown was able to launch Jones Road after her 25-year non-compete agreement ended, which doesn’t appear to have put any hurdles in the way of her career. In 2025, Bobbi Brown was named one of the world’s 100 most influential people by TIME for her revolutionary work within the beauty industry.
Now, Charlotte beauty lovers will soon have the opportunity to experience Bobbi Brown’s latest venture for themselves.
